Wicked Wine of the Week!

Back in August we started our Wicked Wine of the Week ... and one of the first to roll out with the 2009 Clio. Now we’ve come full circle and the 2010 Bodegas El Nido’s Clio is this week’s Wicked Wine!

Looking for a consistently over-achieving, full-bodied red? How about this for a track record, since 2003 this wine hasn’t gotten less than 93 points from Robert Parker!

The rating on the 2010 hasn’t come out yet, but we can tell you it is A-MAZING ... 70% Old Vine Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon that was barrel-aged for 22-26 months in French and American oak. Loaded down with its tell-tale opulence, the 2009 Clio has bold aromas and flavors, a thick, dense palate, and long finish. Bodegas El Nido is a project of the Gil family of Jumilla; Chris Ringland is the chief winemaker.

Regular price $53.99 ... this week only $46.50!

And now for a little bonus; buy three of the 2010 Clio, and we’ll extend a deal on Clio’s big brother, the 2010 El Nido ... Regular price $139.99; this week $130.50.

Remember, this offer is good only through Saturday, June 22nd; after that, if the wine is still available, it goes back to regular price.
